Amy Crawford was born in Edinburgh in 1988.She carried out part time studies with Morag Alexander School Of Dancing until the age of 17 alongside her studies at Lasswade High School Centre where she studied for her highers.There she stared in many amatur productions in and around edinburgh.At the Age of 17 Amy decided to further her studies at Ballet West,Full time dance school in the north west of Scotland.She toured Scotland in "The Nutcracker" with the school and company, She took on the roles of "waltz of the flowers" "Mother ginger" "mouse" and "a maid".She achieved her advanced 1 RAD with merit in 2007.After Her 1 year training with Ballet West she continued her training in Edinburgh at The Centre For Professional Dance Training, where she completed a HND in professional stage dance. Amy has performed in various shows in and around edinburgh, including "cross current 08 and 09" at the kings theatre, and a lead role as "Shirl" in the amateur production of "A slice Of Saturday Night" and " The Wiz" Amy is most recently studying for her BA Dance Hons with northumbria university, and is going into her second year of her CBTS with the RAD.Amy teaches successfully throughout edinburgh and the lothians. After graduating amy hopes to perform commercially,and travel the world with her dancing.
